1 / Book your delivery
Select the date and time for your bike hire delivery - just like reserving a table at your favourite restaurant! Pick a time that suits you. For your convenience we deliver from 8am for those wanting to beat the Summer heat.
2 / Choose your bikes
Hire from our selection of high-quality Specialized Electric and Non-Electric bikes, we have bikes for both Children's and Adult's and we also have Specialized Porto Electric cargo bikes which are perfect for those wanting to carry a few children on either the built in seat or by adding a Child's seat to your hire.
Our bike hire rates include delivery and collection and are $50 for Children's non-electric, $95 for Adult's Electric Bikes and $130 for our Electric Cargo bike. Our Kid's seat are $20 and all prices are per day.
3 / Delivered to your Door
We’ll deliver your hire bikes directly to your holiday accommodation, wherever you are. From Bright to Porepunkah, Wandiligong and Freeburgh area at your chosen time. No need to pick up the hire bikes from a store - conveniently start riding from your door and head back whenever you feel!
We will run through how the bikes operate, set up your ride height and provide you with an Australian certified helmet and bike lock, (we allow approximately 10 minutes for the handover).
4 / Enjoy your ride
Explore the local trails and sights with the freedom of a full day’s hire. There are many places to find out what to do and where to ride while your in the Bright region. A few of our favourites include; Visit Bright and Ride High Countries Rail Trails and Bike Path sections.
5 / Collection made easy
When you’re done for the day simply head back to your accommodation and we’ll return to collect the hire bikes at your pre-selected time slot.
No drop-off at a store required, put your feet up, have a swim, get the fire whatever you like!

What area does Chainstays Service?
We deliver within the Greater area of Bright, meaning Porepunkah, Wandilagong and out to Freeburgh. Need bikes further afield? Get in touch via our contact page and let us know what you need, we will always assist where we can.
Which accommodation do we service?
We will deliver to all Holiday accommodation including caravan and holiday parks where we can gain access.
Do we provide helmets?
Sure thing, we will provide an Australian Standard helmet with every bike and by law it must be worn when riding. With Kids bikes we will bring along multiple helmet sizes to ensure a great fit.
How do I know which bike size to choose?
Some bikes are One size fits all, if that's the case there will only be one size to choose from.
Where a size choice is available, ie. Small, Medium, Large (this refers to bike's size) choose the size which is best suited to your height. In each category we show you the range for which the bike size is suited.
On the booking page we also ask for each Rider's height so we can correctly set a comfortable saddle height.
Do we offer half day and multi day rental?
We offer full, single day hire.
We've found most groups prefer to ride one day during their stay or two days separated by a gap so we have kept our bookings to single day. Also if you're staying in accommodation that does not have secure storage for the bikes we don't want you to stress.
If you would like multi day hire simply get in touch with us here and we will organise your bikes to suit your needs.
How that will work?
We will collect your bike at the end of the day and give your bikes a bike Spa, charge them (if it's an E-bike) and deliver it back to you the following morning. Giving you more holiday time and less to think about.
Do I need to be at my accomodation when the bikes are delivered and collected?
Yes, our staff will need to sight the Drivers license used to make your booking please have it handy when we drop off your bikes, we will also give you a quick rundown on how your bikes work and answer any last minute questions you may have.
We won't keep you long as we know you will be super keen to get out for a ride.
As for collection, again yes we require the guest who made the booking to be available when the bikes are collected.
For both drop off and collection we aim to complete in under 10 minutes at your accommodation so we don't mind if you're enjoying a morning coffee at drop off or a glass of wine when we collect. It's all about convenience for you.
